The Henderson Art Association, as a 501(c) 3 non-profit entity periodically conducts juried admissions.
The Henderson Art Association (HAA) is dependent on volunteer commitment to operate the Henderson Art Association.
The following are the conditions and requirements for juried and non-juried membership.
Qualified judges who review all entries are Masters of Fine Arts .
Judges will look for originality; creativity; technical expertise; and knowledge of composition.
Associate (Non-Juried)Membership and Artist (Juried) Membership
“Associate” Membership in the HAA is open to anyone with a USA mailing address.
Associates receive all publications, may attend HAA activities, but are not eligible to vote at the General Meetings.
They are not eligible to enter HAA shows unless the shows are otherwise open to the general public.
Associate membership applications are accepted at any time.
Artist Membership: Any person is entitled to an Artist Membership when the person meets the following requirements:
1. 18 years of age, or older
2. has submitted original works of fine art which have been accepted and approved by an impartial board of jurors
3. has applied in writing to be granted membership in the association including signing liability waiver
4. has paid the jury application fee and annual dues
5. has adhered to work rules
Student Membership: Any full-time student is entitled to either an “Associate” or “Artist” Membership at a reduced juried
application fee and reduced annual membership fee. All other requirements for an “Associate” or “Artist” Membership apply
to “Student Memberships.

• $10.00 “Student Associate Membership” (annual fee, full-time students)
ARTIST MEMBERSHIP (2 different types)
• $20.00 “Artist Membership Juried Application Fee” (non-refundable) PLUS
$30.00 “Artist Membership” (First Year Annual Membership Fee)
• $10.00 “Student Artist Membership Juried Application Fee” (non-refundable) PLUS
$15.00 “Student Artist Membership” (First Year Annual Membership Fee, full-time students)
SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS, ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
• $40.00 Artist Membership
$20.00 Student Artist Membership
